CareSight in Action:
Rick Trager is our in-house Vocera Administrator, Technical Expert & Trainer. Since joining the T2 company in 2005, Rick has been a core member of our implementation and support teams at hospitals throughout the United States. Rick’s project work has touched nearly every working corner of our hospital customers’ campuses, working extensively with nursing, support services and IT to deploy and support wireless voice and messaging applications. Rick is a gifted trainer with the exceptional ability to digest complex technologies and make them practical for end-users and support professionals alike.
As the Clinical Informatics Manager, Heather brings her clinical knowledge as a RN and her experience in Informatics to the CareSight team. She works with our customers to utilize analytics to identify opportunities and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes.
Heather’s experience in Informatics at Northwell Health focused on software implementation and mobile technologies. As the clinical lead informaticist, she has implemented secure messaging solutions at Cohen Children’s Medical Center and has worked in Northwell Health’s Innovation Center to research, evaluate and test new technologies. Heather has served as the Behavioral Health Clinical Informatics Lead and in partnership with Zucker Hillside Hospital created and implemented a Behavioral Health EMR solution for Allscripts. She has experience with hospital-wide EMR solutions, implementing Allscripts Sunrise at Huntington Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital.
Jolynn Oblak is the Sales Operations and Marketing Manager at CareSight. She is responsible for developing, driving, and implementing channel marketing activities and providing ongoing support to reseller partners. Jolynn also manages CareSight’s marketing efforts, including CRM administration, marketing automation, content marketing, digital marketing (website, social media), and public relations.
She has over 10 years experience in product and services marketing in the healthcare, health insurance, and medical device industries and has managed numerous projects in the highly regulated FDA medical device market.
John Elms is the CEO at Critical Alert Systems. An accomplished executive with over 25 years of executive leadership in information technology, John’s deep expertise in operations, sales, marketing, and finance have helped him to create rapid transformational change at the companies he has worked at and with.

Veeral Lakhani is the CEO of Reliable Group, an expert in software and platform development. With years of experience in business development and management, Veeral has made Reliable Group a leader in application-focused software and web development.
Eric Thorsen is the CEO and founder of ThorTech Solutions, an expert in cloud and high availability computing. Eric has over 25 years in software development and information technology. He specializes in helping businesses transform their IT into a facilitator for business growth.
Rich Shinnick is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at CareSight. He is also the founder of Touchstone Security, a cybersecurity consulting firm. Rich has over 35 years of experience in the computer security industry, providing advice on the risks associated with information technology, with a specialty focus on cloud technology.
In 1998, Mr. Shinnick founded his first company, Shinnick Consulting. In 2000 he co-founded a second company, STIGroup, Ltd., and grew the company to over 40 employees. He worked in the Information Security group at Goldman Sachs, where he played a key role in the development of corporate standards for the design and implementation of cybersecurity technologies. Prior to Goldman, he developed and headed the Information Security Consulting Division at Digital Network Associates, a premier Wall Street systems integration company.
Sara Hefti is CareSight’s Analytics Engineering Lead. As part of CareSight’s Data Services team, she ensures client data is complete, clean, optimized, and ready for analysis. A respected database analyst and SQL developer, Sara is an expert in coding and designing customized solutions for clients and continually works to streamline processes to provide a superlative customer experience.
Eileen Sullivan is CareSight’s Director of Operations and Project Management. She is responsible for overseeing the technical integration and implementation of CareSight software and systems for our customers and for the training of hospital personnel on the operation of the CareSight platform.
A seasoned project manager with over 15 years experience in the healthcare industry, Eileen spearheaded multi-site capital improvement projects for MedAssets, standardizing processes and identifying cost improvement opportunities in various departments. Additionally, over her 14 years at Phelps Memorial Hospital, Eileen managed operating and capital budgets and oversaw numerous hospital-wide projects, including the implementation of eClinical Works EMR and a $10M medical construction project.
Renee Sivinksi oversees Product Management at CareSight. She is in charge of managing software development and implementation of customer projects, including data definition, design services, and query creation necessary for platform deployment. She also oversees the company’s third party consulting projects.
Previously a quality engineer and worldwide senior technical expert at Hyperion, now part of Xerox, Renee is focused on ensuring that CareSight provides customers with the highest-quality reporting and functionality.
John Harmon is the Chief Operating Officer at CareSight. He has over over 30 years experience helping companies grow strategically and is responsible for the company’s strategic planning, financial planning and management, channel development and management, and operations oversight and reporting.
Prior to joining CareSight, John worked at Gartner Group, where he was responsible for building a sales organization for a new portfolio of consulting services related to the uses of IT in strategic planning. He also worked at Pitney Bowes, where he was Director of Strategic Planning and New Business Development.
At Kodak, where he worked for more than 20 years, John was responsible for strategy coordination and business development and held several leadership/management positions, including Director of Marketing for the Customer Equipment Services Division, Director of Quality Management, and Director of Strategic Planning for the Graphics Division. He was also involved in sales and sales management in the Business Information Systems Division.
Mark Pelley is the founding Data Architect for CareSight and has over 25 years of analytics development experience. Prior to CareSight, he was part of the team at TPC Systems that developed the company’s mobile workforce management system.
Mark is a business solutions professional who has extensive experience developing, customizing, integrating, and optimizing business information systems. His background spans accounting, operations, inventory control, CRM, and other decision-support information systems.
Kenny Schiff is the Founder and Managing Partner of CareSight. A 22-year veteran of the healthcare technology industry, Kenny was previously the Chief Technology Officer at TPC Systems, a Connecticut-based systems integrator focused on the hospital market, where he developed the company’s healthcare mobility consultancy. During his tenure, his team introduced Vocera, Connexall, and Ascom to New York metropolitan area customers. Prior to that, he spent over 7 years at Rauland, a leading manufacturer of nurse call systems.
A respected expert in hospital communication integration, Kenny believes in providing customers with personalized, high-touch service, from pre-sale through implementation and support. His customers and partners consider him a trusted resource, one who can be counted on to successfully implement complex solutions that deliver a positive return on investment.
